In the course of last week, the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Decision of the Council, of 23/10/2001, which establishes a Community mechanism aimed at facilitating reinforced cooperation in civil protection emergency measures (GUCE L 297/7, 15/11/2001); · Common declaration of the European Community, its member States and the Republic of Croatia on political dialogue (GUCE C 320/1, 15/11/2001); · Common position of the Council, of 19/11/2001, relating to Rwanda (GUCE L 303/1, 20/11/2001); · Common action of the Council, of 19/11/2001, extending the mandate of the EU special representative for the peace process in the Middle East (GUCE L 303/5, 20/11/2001).
