The following acts and communications, among others, were adopted in the course of last week: · Decision of the Commission, of 20/11/2001, which extends for the eighth time the validity of Decision 1999/815/EC concerning provisions that prohibit the marketing of toys and children’s articles susceptible of being placed in the mouths of children below the age of three and made in soft PVC (Guce L304/26 of 21/11/2001); · Act of the Council, of 16/10/2001, that establishes, in conformity with article 34 of the treaty of the European Union, the protocol of the Convention relating to judicial assistance in penal matters between the member States of the EU (Guce C 326/1 of 21/11/2001).
