In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Resolution of the Council of 21/1/2002 on “information culture and society” (OGEC C 32/1, 5/2/2002); · Resolution of the Council of 21/1/2002 relating to the role of culture in the construction of the European Union (OGEC C 32/2, 5/2/2002); · Regulation (EC) no. 246/2002 of the Commission, of 8/2/2002, containing temporary exemption to Regulation (EC) no. 1445/95 establishing the procedures for the application of the import and export regime in the beef sector (OGEC L 39/14, 9/2/2002).
