In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Conclusions of the Council, of 14/2/2002, on the follow-up of the report on specific future objectives of the system of education and training with a view to the preparation of a joint report of the Council and of the Commission to be presented to the European Council in the spring of 2002 (OGEC C 58/1, 5/3/2002); · Act of the Council, of 28/2/2002, amending the act of the Council of 12/3/1999, that establishes the regulations for the transmission of data of personal character by Europol to third States or bodies (OGEC C 58/12, 5/3/2002); · Decision of the Council, of 28/2/2002, that establishes Eurojust to reinforce the campaign against grave forms of criminality (OGEC L 63/1, 6/3/2002); · Decision of the Council, of 28/2/2002, containing measures of control and penal sanctions relating to the new synthetic drug PMMA (OGEC L 63/14, 6/3/2002).
