The Commissions of the EP are due to meet in Brussels from 25 to 29 March 2002. The main points on the agenda are as follows: · Social policy draft joint report on social inclusion (Commission of Social Affairs and Commission of Culture, rapporteur: Alyssandrakis); · Report on the state of negotiations on EU enlargement (Commission of Foreign Affairs and Commission of Culture, rapporteur: Beazley); · European youth: opening of the decision-making process to young citizens A white paper (Commission of Culture, Youth, Education, Media and Sport; examination of a draft report); · Debate with the Representative of the Spanish Presidency on the Programme of the Council in the Youth sector (Commission of Culture); · Implementation of the programme on the equality of the sexes (Commission for women’s rights and equal opportunities, rapporteur: Figueiredo); · Exchange of opinions with the President of the Convention: progress of the work (Commission of Constitutional Affairs); Reform of the Regulation on parliamentary immunity (Commission of Constitutional Affairs, rapporteur: Duff).
