The Commissions of the European Parliament will meet in Brussels from 17 to 20 June 2002. The main points on the agenda are as follows: · Globalization of the economy: social governance, fundamental rights, labour regulations (Commission for Employment and social affairs, rapporteur: Gillig); · Scheme for the implementation of the social Agenda (Commission for Employment, rapporteur: Smet); · Temporary work: framework for the protection of workers, relations with employers (Commission for Employment, rapporteur: Van den Burg); · Recommendation of the EP for the negotiation of economic partnership accords with ACP regions and states (Commission for development and cooperation, rapporteur: Boudjenah); · Sustainable agricultural policy, agrarian reform and rural development in support of the autonomy of the developing countries (Commission of development, rapporteur: Khanbhai); · Palestine, refugees: eleventh CE-UNRWA Convention, contribution 2002-2005 (Commission for development, exchange of opinions).
