In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Regulation (EC) no. 1/2003 of the Council, of 16 December 2002, concerning the application of the rules of competition specified in articles 81 and 82 of the Treaty (OGEC L 1/1, 4/1/03); · Decision of the Commission, of 23 December 2002, that implements Regulation (EEC) no. 1612/68 of the Council as regards the intermediation between labour supply and demand (OGEC L 5/16, 10/1/2003); · Recommendation of the Commission, of 10 January 2003, relating to a coordinated programme of official controls of food products for 2003 (GUCE L 7/76, 11/1/03).
