The Commissions of the European Parliament will meet in Brussels from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 February 2003. Among the main points on the agenda: Preparatory report for the recommendation of the Commission on economic policy guidelines (Economic and Monetary Commission, rapporteur: Garcia-Margallo); Annual assessment of the implementation of the programmes of stability and convergence (Economic and Monetary Commission, rapporteur: Trentin); New proposals for a European strategy on employment (Commission for employment and social affairs, rapporteur: Mann); Joint meeting with the Commission for social, health-care and family questions of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (Commission for employment and social affairs).
