The 10th biennial Congress of the European Society for the Study of Science and Theology was held in Barcelona from 1 to 6 April. The meeting took place in the context of the universal Forum of cultures, which, from April to October, has chosen Barcelona as cultural capital of the world. “The day to day dialogue between science and theology in the scientific and theological field in the universities explain the organizers is a constant everywhere, with the exception of Spain, Italy and France where the faculties of theology do not form part of the state universities”. The theme of the congress was: “Currents of wisdom. Theology and cultural dynamics”. According to the physicist Mariano Artigas, “attempts at dialogue between science and religion do exist. The two spheres are, of course, different, but they must show mutual respect for each other”.
