The annual meeting of the joint CCEE/CEC Committee is being held in Chartres, in France, from 3 to 6 February. The agenda of the meeting includes a discussion on the current ecumenical situation in Europe, some decisions to be taken in view of the Third European Ecumenical Assembly (scheduled for 2007), a review of the work of the joint Committee for relations with Muslims in Europe and relations between the Churches and the European Union.
