The vocational campaign “Come and see” is being held in the diocese of Málaga. It consists of opening the doors of the seminary to enable people in the diocese to get to know it. Málaga, a diocese with 26 seminarians, is receiving a visit from 1200 people this week. But the seminarians are not waiting passively for the young to go and meet them: starting this week they are going out into the community to meet Catholic parishes, groups of students in schools and universities, to “raise the awareness of society in general and the Christian community in particular of the need for the service of priests”, as explained by the teacher at the seminary Father Emilio Martín. The diocese of Madrid celebrated Seminary Day on Sunday 13 March and has prepared a campaign with “Mary as generous example”. Madrid has 120 seminarians. The diocese of Seville has also opened the doors of its seminary “to familiarise people with the heart of the diocese”. Visitors have visited the lecture rooms, library, other rooms of the seminary, and have prayed for vocations with their archbishop and cardinal Amigo Vallejo. There are 67 seminarians at Seville.
