The national Eucharistic Congress will be held in Budapest on 17 September, and is expected to be attended by 5000 delegates from all over Hungary. The national pastoral institute will coordinate the organization of the meeting, which will conclude the Year of the Eucharist celebrated in the country. A series of conferences, testimonies, mediations and artistic events linked to the theme of the Eucharist are planned for the Congress, as well as specific events for children. The Congress will also host a follow-up meeting that will reunite the Hungarian youth who participated in World Youth Day in Cologne.
