“The adolescent and the construction of identity The second cycle of education and formation and the Christian community” is the theme of the meeting of the National office of the Italian Bishops’ Conference for education, schools and universities, due to be held in Grosseto from 6 to 9 July. The programme, which will be presented by Msgr. Bruno Stenco, director of the aforesaid office, comprises a series of reports that will focus on the question of the construction of identity. The participants will also split up into work groups on “educational subjects and the service to adolescents” and on such themes as “civilian service, bioethics, sexuality and the life of the affections”. A session will also be devoted to the reform of the second school cycle, with an intervention by Italy’s Minister of Education, Universities and Research.
