“Quo vadis?”: that’s the title of the 6th International Christian Youth Festival to be held at Belozem, in Bulgaria. The theme of this year’s festival, to be held from 29 August to 3 September, is the destination to which our own life is aimed. The festival consists of a mix of workshops, work groups, school of music and concerts. Music indeed is one of the key elements of the event. The plans in fact include the recording of a CD in a professional studio, in which the participants can perform either as soloists or as groups. The problems to be discussed will include fear and depression and life as a challenge. Liturgical celebrations presided over by Bishop Georgi Jovcev of Sofia and Plovdiv are also planned. The title of the festival is taken from the words addressed by Christ, in the novel of Henrik Senkewicz, to Peter who is fleeing from Rome, abandoning the Church, due to the persecution of Christians. Youth over the age of 14 can take part in the festival.
