The first Church monthly of news and information on the Côte d’Azur has been established in recent days. It is called “Azur informations”. Supported by the bishop of Nice Louis Sankalé, and directed by the abbé Gil Florini, it has been printed in an edition of 40,000 copies. It will be sold on newsstands and also disseminated in all doctors’ waiting rooms, public offices and hotels. To help in its distribution, all the over 40 parishes of the Côte d’Azur and its hinterland have been mobilised. “The objective of the publication explains Father Gil Florini is to support the major social projects of the area and the necessary reflection for their fulfilment. This publication also proposes to tackle such major problems as the formation of the young, work, the support of the elderly and assistance for the less fortunate”.
