Canon Bob Fyffe, minister of the Episcopal Church of Scotland, has been appointed as the new general secretary of “Churches Together in Britain and Ireland” (CTBI), an ecumenical organization that brings together the churches of Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, Protestant and Pentecostal tradition in the UK. Canon Bob Fyffe succeeds David Goodbourn, who had completed his 7-year term of office and who forms part of the preparatory group of the Conference of European Churches (CEC), charged with the task of organizing the Third European Ecumenical Assembly in Sibiu.
