“Bringing the joy of the Risen Lord to everyone” is the title of the pastoral aid prepared by the offices and agencies of the Italian Bishops’ Conference for the period of Lent and Easter 2006 and sent to all parishes. Inspired by the First Letter of Peter, which this year is accompanying the journey towards the 34th national ecclesial Congress due to be held in Verona from 16 to 20 October 2006, the aid is aimed at offering suggestions for reflection that may open the heart to listening, inspire celebration and suggest attitudes of witness. The booklet opens with an introduction by the general secretary of the Italian episcopate, Monsignor Giuseppe Betori. Among the novelties: a musical supplement and a Via Crucis arranged by Paola Bignardi, former President of Italian Catholic Action.
