A guide for the recognition of volunteer services performed in Switzerland, to be combined with one’s curriculum vitae when one is job hunting, has been published jointly by the Federation of the Protestant Churches in Switzerland and by the Conference of Swiss Bishops. The guide is aimed at those in charge of the volunteer services within the Church and associated organizations. A detailed dossier on the matter can be consulted on the Internet (www.eglises.ch/dossierbenevolat) with details of the various activities through which volunteers can attest their service and their skills. The testimonial of these skills can be combined with CVs when one is job-hunting to trying to change one’s job.
