The 25th anniversary of the opening of the International Centre of Spirituality for Youth, founded on the initiative of the diocese and province of the Scalabrinian missionaries for migrants, was celebrated in Stuttgart in recent days. Some 200 people of 18 different nationalities were present at the meeting. The project developed by the Centre in this past quarter century is that of promoting Christian formation “open to meeting and dialogue, with a view to a concrete experience of faith”. In a message the director of the Centre, Father Gabriele Bortolamai, recalled that in the 25 years of its history the Centre of Spirituality has seen the presence of over 22,000 youth of 72 nationalities. The anniversary was accompanied by a eucharistic celebration officiated by the auxiliary bishop of Rottenburg-Stoccarda, Thomas Maria Renz.
