The local churches of Europe and of the world and the Italian Catholic missions in Europe are the focus of a theological research and study project to prepare for the Symposium with the title “Missio ad migrantes. Prophecy in the local churches?”, due to be held from 25 to 28 June, on the occasion of the quinquennial meeting of the Councils of national delegations of Italian Catholic Missions in Europe. In preparation for the meeting, the National Office for the pastoral care of Italians in the world, in collaboration with the Migrantes Foundation, is conducting an analysis on the social, cultural and pastoral context of Italian communities abroad. Contributions have already been received from Germany, Switzerland and Benelux.
