In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Protection of data in the Community: the European Commission seeks opinions on the application of the regulations on privacy (OGEC C 150/6, 22/6/2002); · Common position of the Council, of 20/6/2002, modifying the common position 2001/443/PESC on the International Penal Court (OGEC L 164/1, 22/6/2002); · Framework decision of the Council, of 13/6/2002, on the campaign against terrorism (OGEC L 164/3, 22/6/2002); · Draft regulation of the EP and the Council on support to policies and actions regarding reproductive and sexual hygiene and connected rights in the developing countries (OGEC C 151 E/260, 25/6/2002); · Draft regulation of the EP and the Council on the contribution to the campaign against diseases linked to poverty (HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis) in the developing countries (OGEC C 151 E/202, 25/6/2002).
