In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Proposed decision of the Council concerning guidelines for the policies of member states in favour of employment for 2002 (OGEC 75E/1, 26/3/2002); · Proposed decision of the Council regarding the approval, in the name of the European Community, of the Kyoto Protocol annexed to the UN Convention on climate change and joint fulfilment of the related commitments (OGEC C 75E/17, 26/3/2002); · Proposed amendment of the decision of the Council relating to the European Year of persons with disabilities 2003 (OGEC C 75E/258, 26/3/2002); · Proposed framework-decision of the Council on the campaign against racism and xenophobia (OGEC C 75E/269, 26/3/2002).
