In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Resolution of the Council of 1/3/2002 on the protection of consumers, in particular of the young, through the labelling of some videogames and computer games by age groups (OGEC 65/2, 14/3/2002); · Common action of the Council, of 11/3/2002, relating to the role of the police of the European Union(OGEC L 70/1, 13/3/2002); · Decision of the Council of 19/12/2001, relating to the conclusion of an accord in the form of an exchange of letters between the European Community and the Agency of the United Nations for the Relief and Employment of Palestinian refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) regarding a supplementary contribution in 2001 for the period 1999-2001, in the framework of the EC-UNRWA Convention currently in force (OGEC L 75/46, 16/3/2002).
