In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Decision no. 1/2002 of the Council of Association EU-Bulgaria, of 5/6/2002, that adopts the procedures and general conditions for the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in Community programmes (OGEC L 317/27, 21/11/2002); · Regulation (EC) no. 2083/2002 of the Commission, of 22 November 2002, containing the eighth amendment of regulation (EC) no. 881/2002 of the Council which imposes specific restrictive measures on particular persons and groups associated with Osama Bin Laden, the Al-Qaeda network and the Taliban and abrogates regulation (EC) no. 467/2001 of the Council (OGEC L 319/22, 23/11/2002); · Proposed amendment of the directive of the Council containing minimum norms for the procedures applied in the member states with a view to the recognition and annulment of the status of refugee (OGEC C 291E/143, 26/11/2002); · Draft decision of the Council aimed at granting further macrofinancial aid to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (OGEC C 291 E/299, 26/11/2002); · Draft decision of the Council aimed at granting further macrofinancial aid to Bosnia-Herzegovina (OGEC C 291 E/307, 26/11/2002).
