In the course of last week the following legislative acts and communications, among others, came into force: · Regulation (EC) no. 1580/2002 of the Commission, of 4/9/2002, containing a second amendment of regulation (EC) no. 881/2002 of the Council which imposes specific restrictive measures against certain persons and bodies associated with Osama Bin Laden, the Al-Qaeda network and the taliban and abrogates regulation (EC) no. 467/2001 of the Council (OGEC L 237/3, 5/9/2002); · Decision no. 1600/2002/CE of the EP and the Council, of 22/7/2002, establishing the sixth community programme of action on the environment (OGEC L 242/1, 10/9/2002).
