A document that helps to take account of changes in funerary culture, the drafting of a declaration on the integration of immigrants and current questions relating to the future of compulsory military service: these are the main issues to be discussed by the German bishops during their spring plenary assembly to be held in Bensberg from 1st to 4 March. The 71 members of the German Bishops’ Conference will also discuss the work of CIBEDO (Centre of documentation for the meeting between Christians and Muslims), the mission to German Catholics abroad and preparations for World Youth Day in Cologne in 2005.
