That’s the address of the new website launched by the European Commission at the end of June with the aim of “supporting the development of renewable energy sources and promoting energy efficiency, thanks to the new technologies of “information and communication”. The portal managed by the Commission’s General Directorate for transport and energy and by the Directorate for Interpretation is intended to contribute to correcting the serious delay in the achievement of the objectives of EU energy policy up to 2010. In particular, managenergy.tv transmits twenty-four hours per day live programmes and documentaries (specialized and non) that place at the disposal of those concerned, also at the local level, innovative technologies and management solutions that facilitate energy saving. Awareness-raising campaigns and exchanges of good practices between players in the sector represent the main menu of the portal.
