The baseball caps included in the kit given to Italian pilgrims enjoyed huge success among the Italian youth who took part in the 20th WYD. But due to greater than estimated participation, not all the young were able to get hold of one. So the national Service for Youth Ministry of the Italian Bishops’ Conference, “in response to the huge demand, both in Cologne and in Italy”, has obtained from the manufacturer “a promise to re-open production. Since they are produced in limited series, the cost will be 2.50 euro per cap, plus mailing costs” . Anyone interested in obtaining one should send a request no later than Saturday, 10th September, by sending an e-mail to the address vito@100giorni.com. “The delivery of the caps will take place from the end of October. The firm that produces them will send to all those interested the necessary information about payment and delivery”. On the other hand, informs the same office, several thousand surplus copies of the WYD prayer book are still available: “anyone wishing to purchase one (0.50 euro plus mailing costs) should send an e-mail to the address giovani@chiesacattolica.it after 12 September, the date on which the office reopens”.
