There are many search options (by parish, by place of worship, by city/town, by departement and also by post code). Surfing on the site is also easier. On the website (messesinfo.cef.fr), the result of coordination at the national level of the Information-Communication Service of the French Bishops’ Conference with the various dioceses, it is possible to find the times of Sunday and weekday masses and, in the event of incompatibility of times, proposals for possible alternatives within a range of 20 km from the chosen place of worship. Monasteries and abbeys are also included on the site. In 2005, fourth year since the introduction of the service, some 25,000 requests were made, while over 1 million visits to the website were registered.
