Luxembourg: meeting on migrations

A joint Franco-Luxembourg meeting on “migrations” will be held in the parish centre of Oberkorn, in Luxembourg, on 15 June. Promoted by the CPMT (Centre of Pastoral Care in the World of Work) and ACI (Catholic Action), the meeting will include an address by the director of CPMT, Jos Freylinger, on the cultural and social realities of the region. During the meeting Paul Estgen, sociologist of the Inter-Community Centre – Socio-Pastoral Service, will present a document called “The Social Word” of the archdiocese of Luxembourg. Then Ignace Berten, Dominican theologian and philosopher, and co-founder of the association “Spaces, spiritualities, cultures and societies in Europe”, will give a talk on Paul VI’s encyclical “Populorum progressio”.
