On 30 January frère Alois, prior of the ecumenical community of Taizé, will be in Brussels with a group of confreres at the invitation of COMECE for a meeting that will render “more visible – explain its organizers – the spiritual dimension of European unification”, a process in which “confidence in oneself, in others and in God’s love proceed together”. Morning prayers in the chapel of the Resurrection; a meeting between European youth working in the institutions in Brussels; evening prayers in the cathedral in the presence of Cardinal Gottfried Danneels: these are the main events on the programme.
