“Yearning to learn” is the topic of the 2007 Advent campaign of “Living together”, the solidarity initiative undertaken in 2003 by the Church of Belgium which this year focuses on social exclusion, illiteracy, lack of access to culture: insurmountable barriers for those who have a “yearning to learn”. To sensitize the public opinion on this topic, three plays were put on stage where the protagonists are marginalized people, unemployed, lonely people who witness daily exclusion. The authors of the script are people whose cultural rights were infringed. The shows will be held in Waterloo on December 7, in Eupen on December 14, in Lessines on December 15 after those held in Dison on November 30 and in Athus on December 3.
