At the time of Communion during the final Mass of the 20th World Youth Day, many young people instead of waiting for the priests to arrive in their sector, followed them before they had arrived at the planned spots. As the priests proceeded the number of youth following them increased virtually forming just as many processions. "The youth at Marienfeld said Fr. Francesco De Luca from Naples have immediately put into practice the word of Benedict XVI who had invited them to put the Eucharist at the centre of their lives".
