"To return from Bethlehem, the three Wise Men went a different way. Well, even you, young people, must look for your way, the road to be covered throughout your life in the light of faith and the Gospel. This requires determination and responsibility". In today’s catechesis, the bishop of Sofia and Plovdiv, mgr. Georgi Jovchev, spurred the young Bulgarians who are attending the WYD to "take strong and demanding decisions, both in their lives of faith and in their lives as citizens, at the service of society". Mgr. Jovchev explains to Sir: "I insisted on the need to be careful in choosing the right star to follow. Today, there are so many false stars, wrong points of reference, in our country. I am thinking of consumerism, personal interests, even cults. Jesus shows instead a special vocation to everyone; it must be Him who shows us the way, our hope for the future".
