"The cross is our star. The three Wise Men had the strength, the will and the courage to follow their star; we have Christ to show us the way". In this morning’s catechesis at Cologne’s Gerlingen Zentrum, in front of 350 boys and girls from Bulgaria, mgr. Christo Proykov, the apostolic exarch of Sofia, explained: "Man has been made to search for the truth. The same applies to all of us. In life, we cannot just give up or make do; we have to find our own way, that we have to walk along, lit by the Gospel". The President of the Bulgarian Bishops then added to Sir: "Here, we have motivated boys and girls, searching. They are discovering a faith that can be the light and the salt of the world. I reminded them that at home, in our country, a crystal-clear, intense testimony is waiting for them".
