The one of the quest is an "unresolved question "also for the young from the perspective of personal life where God can play a role", as well as from the perspective of science where "all that whole of information that can be found in the genetic codes and are in charge of life’s dynamics" takes its place. The question of the faith, that is, "the perspective of creative intelligence as the origin of the intelligibility of the universe and, within it, of the intelligibility of the phenomenon of life", goes these two ways. At this point stated cardinal Camillo Ruini, president of the Italian Bishops Conference, in the catechesis held today in Wuppertal during the WYD of Cologne "we have to shift gears and rather go back to the personal and existential planes and above all this will make us change direction: it is no longer about the quest that starts from us in the attempt to reach God. It is instead about the revelation that starts from God and comes to us". This is how we discover faith, which, as well as not being "a myth", is not even "a feeling of ours, but our response, freed itself by the free manifestation of God".
