"Union makes strength; all Christians must join together to tackle together future challenges and the World Youth Day is an excellent starting point to face this journey". These were the words of Ana Graselli, 20 years old, from Slovenia, who expressed her thoughts on the 20th WYD which will begin in Cologne tomorrow. It is an experience which for this girl "is more interesting than spending the standard holiday at the seaside". These Days will be "a sign of peace she explained after the terrorist attacks of last month. For this reason, it is important for the event to take place in Europe". As regards the recent entry of Slovenia into the European Union, Ana said she was "happy for the elimination of boundaries and for the real possibility to be even more united, not only in words, but also in deeds". There is no difference in faith between young people from the Eastern Europe and young people from Western Europe: "It is not true that young people from Eastern Europe have a stronger religious conviction she stated -. During these days, which preceded the WYD, I tackled this theme with my contemporaries and it is not like this; the only difference is the one between countries: we should be more united in order to be stronger in solving problems which appear every day".
