This was repeated today by the Pope, in the last part of his homily in the Cathedral of Istanbul. "Your communities said the Pontiff to the congregation are aware of the humble walk of having to go every day with those who do not share our faith but state ‘they have Abraham’s faith and who worship with us the one merciful God’", as the "Lumen Gentium" goes. Hence the Pope’s final invitation to the Turkish Catholic community: "Be always open to the Spirit of Christ and therefore take care of those who thirst for justice, peace, dignity, regard for themselves and for their brethrens. Live with each other according to the Word of the Lord". Then, the final prayer to Mary, who "prayed in the cenacle with the primitive community, awaiting the Pentecost".” “
