Special measures include drug supplies; "other measures aim at preserving the cattle, the main staple of the region". Finally, plans have been developed that "go beyond the emergency, by strengthening the alert system for the next few months". So the EU allocation for the region reaches 88 million euros, 27 of which will be used for humanitarian aids.” “
