The Vatican Press Room has reported this evening that "the Holy See has been officially invited to participate in the role as Observer in the International Conference for Lebanon due to be held in Rome tomorrow, Wednesday, 26 July. The Delegation of the Holy See will be led by Archbishop Giovanni Lajolo, Secretary for Relations with States. He will be accompanied as Members of the Delegation by Counsellors Msgr. Franco Coppola and Msgr. Alberto Ortega Martin".
