In fact, the cause of the seven monks of Tibhirine is joined to that of another 12 "martyrs of the Church of Algeria”, religious people who died between 1994 and 1996, whom the Church of Algeria intends to join into one single beatification process. These religious people explains the archbishop, mgr. Henri Teissier "died in loyalty to a mission received from the Church and in loyalty to an evangelical relation of closeness to the Algerian people”. While waiting for permission from Rome, the collection of evidence and writings required for the beatification of these religious people has already beuin in Algeria. Mgr. Teissier seems to have already appointed a postulator, father Giovanni Bigotto, a Marist father who is about to publish a booklet called "Blood of love", in which he introduces these 19 martyrs and their congregations. These men and women were "passionately fond of their Church reads the booklet of which they were the conscientious and indefatigable servants" and also "passionately fond of Algeria and its people, with whom they were on friendly terms”.
