It will happen during the meeting “Globalization and food sovereignty – from policies to practice: the peasant women between Africa and Italy have the right to speak”, which will take place on 23 October in Rome (at 3 pm – FAO headquarters), set up by non-governmental organizations Terra Nuova, Crocevia, Coldiretti, Cipsi, Chiama l’Africa, Ari, and Aiab, within the “EuropAfrica-Terre Contadine” (peasants’ land) campaign. Three African peasant leaders, – Tiuosso Sanda Halima (Niger), Joséphine Atangana (Cameroon), and Ann Naanyu Kilele (Kenya), – will meet with four Italian agriculture businesswomen that are part of four agriculture organizations.
