Martino, president of the Papal Council of Justice and Peace, during the opening of today’s meeting at the Vatican. The subject of the meeting was: "Consecrated life and social doctrine: training courses". In a telegram sent to the participants (about 70), Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State, announced the hope of Benedict XVI: the meeting should foster "growing and generous commitment for the promotion of the universal values of justice and solidarity, in respect of the rights of the human beings".
