"There have been no news. The important thing is both parties are working really hard. There’s a strong will to reach a shared agreement". Mgr. Antonio Franco, apostolic nuncio to Jerusalem and Palestine, comments with these words to SIR the plenary meeting of the Permanent Bilateral Commission between the Holy See and the State of Israel that took place in Jerusalem on 12th and 13th December. "The one being discussed explained the Nuncio is not simply an agreement between the State of Israel and the Holy See but concerns the local church here. The local church is also working to review the problems that affect it. All this will take time to be studied and explained". (continued)
