” “According to Eurobarometro’s survey, 51% of EU citizens think that the social system of their country "guarantees a fairly wide coverage" of people’s needs. As to employment, "85% of citizens are not scared of losing their job in the next few months". Also in the "professional sphere", the levels of satisfaction are comparatively high: 77% of citizens think they can make the most of their skills and expertise on the job market". 41% of respondents, "however, think work demands excessive efforts and turns out to be too stressful, versus 34% who do not share this view". Their confidence in the national political bodies turns out to be low: "Less than one third of citizens – according to Eurobarometro – trust their national bodies". "Currently, the most widespread concern is for unemployment (36%), followed by the cost of living (35%) and pensions (30%)".
