Brice de Malherbe, who received this morning in Rome the "Henri de Lubac" literary award, explained that he chose the subject of his thesis after living two months in an assistance centre for the terminally ill. The dissertation of the thesis was held at the Catholic University with mgr. Livio Melina from Istituto Giovanni Paolo II of Pontificia Università Lateranense as the supervisor. An award was also given to the second place, father Stéphane Henaux, author of "The metaphysics of freedom in Joseph de Finance" (Gregorian University). The ceremony was also attended by card. Georges Marie Cottier and Jacques de Larosière, president of the international association "Cardinal Henri de Lubac".
