Then there is "the acknowledgement and promotion of the family as a fundamental, natural relation between a man and a woman that opens up to children, and the defence of the family from the frequent attempts at giving it a relative nature, in the attempt to make it legally equal or equivalent to other forms of union"; "the protection of the parents’ rights to educate their children"; "the fundamental right to religious freedom, not just in its personal dimension but also in a truly institutional sense". These are, he concluded, "principles that are shared by all mankind".” “
