SIR EUROPA: PORTUGAL, BISHOPS "AD LIMINA" FROM 3RD TO 12TH NOVEMBER

Between 3rd and 12th November, the bishops of the Portuguese Bishops Conference (Cep) will go to the Vatican for the traditional visit Ad sacra limina apostolorum. The diocesan leaders will be received by the Pope, first in small groups, then all together on 10th November. On Monday 6th November, they will exceptionally meet in Rome for their October plenary meeting. The next day, they will meet the Congregation for the causes of the saints, chaired by the Portuguese cardinal José Saraiva Martins, and will attend the general audience granted by Pope Benedict XVI. During their stay at the Vatican, the bishops will also meet the Congregation for the clergy and Catholic education and the Papal Councils for the lay and the family.
