7 thousand young people are expected for All Saints’ Day holidays, from 26 October to 7 November, in the international ecumenical community of Taize, established by Friar Roger in 1940, in the South of Bourgogne, in France. It was announced by the brothers living in the community today. According to registrations, 7 thousand people are already coming, 5,700 of whom are French coming from all over the country. The most numerous group, with 1,100 registered people, is the Lille one, accompanied by Auxiliary Bishop Msgr. Delannoy. Other French bishops will be present in the community of Taize in this period: Msgr. Gérard Daucourt, bishop of Nanterre, Msgr. d’Ornellas, archbishop of Rennes, and Msgr. Patenôtre, archbishop of Sens-Auxerre. The community of Taize is made up of about one hundred brothers, either Catholic or of various Protestant origins, from over twenty-five countries. "Welcoming others said Friar Emile to SIR has always been an essential part of life in Taize". Ever since the end of the fifties, many thousands of young people from numerous nations started going to Taize to participate in the weekly meetings of prayer and reflection, or in longer meetings in summer.
