Margot Wallström, deputy president in charge of institutional relations and communication strategy, has been entrusted with speaking of the Commission’s work plan and relaying it to the citizens as well, through the mass media. The Swedish MEP explains: "The plan also includes priorities in the area of communication, which are one further step towards strengthening the Commission’s policy for increasing Europe’s visibility".
